Resource Guide
This resource guide will present information on all proposed generation options and on alternative options. Resources represented in the proposed plan have different attributes that result in various trade-offs. These trade-offs involve a balancing act between the capabilities of available technologies, their cost and reliability. Wind and solar, for example, are non-polluting but are not controllable or dependable for meeting peak needs. Natural gas, coal or nuclear may offer control, but come with varying degrees of emissions, fuel and cost risks. AE needs input from the community on this balancing of risk.
